What is a secondary virus scanner?
They are very similar to the Anti Virus programs above, except for 1 crucial feature, they do not offer real-time protection. Secondary virus scanners are to be used in addition to your standard Anti Virus program. Use them only as an extra virus scanner. These are useful mainly because your secondary virus scanner may pick up malware that your Anti Virus doesn't catch.
These are not to replace your Anti Virus.
